Give cats an indoor workout.
Have
plenty of toys around the house to
encourage activity. You can also try using
a laser pointer. It will keep your cat
entertained for hours!
Make dogs work for their treats.
Hide
treats around the house while your dog
isn’t looking—behind doors, under tables,
underneath rugs, etc. Your dog will be so
busy tracking down his treats that he’ll
physically tire out in the process and
probably have a lot of fun!
Go shopping.
Most pet and feed stores
allow for dogs to be in the store, on a
leash, of course. If your dog does well with
other people and pets, this can be a great
way to get out of the house and do some
walking and socializing!
